A few things to take note of... Aquitane/Silvanesti is setting up forums for the guild at www.voltronforce.freeforums.org He doesn't anticipate having them working until Thursday night or Friday, but you can head over there and register now.
Last night's run through the armory was good--we got a crapload of greens and some more of the Scarlet Chain set... and we had the boss killed, save 4 mobs running in out of nowhere and causing just a bit more havoc than we could handle... and then turning a 2 pull into a 6 pull on the way back. We also learned a bit about tanking and level requirements...
Which brings up the point of level 40 and that some of us are getting very close to hitting us. With a lack of lively PvP most of the time, it does leave us with few options-especially since tradeskills are going very well.
I'm not sure what to do about this dilemma... Farming gold is always a good option, though boring as hell, and those crawlers still give you some experience... Logging outside of an inn or city to avoid rest exp is a decent move too, I suppose. To avoid the more exp that comes with instances, we could spend Wednesday night helping Hunk do a bazillion quests down in STV in an hour or two and get our tank up to a healthy 35 or so.
The last thing to note is that our guild needs some class balance at a few key spots... First, we need a druid. I was hoping for (and still am, eventually) my brother to play this role. It really hasn't worked out like I had planned. We also could use a warlock. Some RL stuff has come up for Allura, limiting her playing time.
If you get a chance to play with a druid or warlock and you like them, and they're unguilded, let me know. We'll basically look mid 20's to 30's. This isn't a priority--but it would be nice as TBone is leveling to have the option of getting 2 groups going like we had last night and keeping them balanced. Our rogue-heavy runs have worked well, but eventually sap won't work... :-) And when it doesn't, we need to be ready to adapt.

YO!
I think that Alodria (Rylia?) still wants to level up her druid...but I'm not certain. Either way, it would be good to have a second around.
I'm down for STV! And once again, my apologies. I've been running folks around getting them up in level and it's obviously hindered us a bit for instances like SM.
Super-stoked to hit SM and DOMINATE!!!!
No, it's good that we're catching people up. I'm glad that you're doing that--I think that all of us can get more involved with that too. If you could let people know to use IG mail (or the new forums starting this weekend... hopefully) to let us know if/when they need help, we should be able to make sure they get it.
Also, if said people could give me an idea what slots they haven't found greens yet--or are using outdated greens--or if there are crafted items that they could use, have them get that information to me. I can send a few gold to shop the AH or coordinate with our leatherworkers, etc. to get them outfitted.
I feel like I have a pretty good idea of what all of us towards the top levels have and need--I haven't played with those who started just a little late, so I'm not sure what their situation is like. Of course, the better gear, the quicker the leveling. It makes a difference at early levels, even if it's not as pronounced.
Long comment--I'm thinking about setting up a gear database that I can reference to try and efficiently allocate resources.
May or may not be on tomorrow. Have fun without me if I'm not!
Hey all,
So lots has happened in the past week for me to say the least. I've gone from originally moving out friday into my own apt to having someone change their mind on the original deal and saying that i was to get out.
So, I'm moving back to Iowa in a few days to live w/ the parents some until I can find a new job. I'm not completely out of a job atm cuz I've set up something with work so I can continue to work on a few projects that need finished for them while I'm in iowa and continue to make some money for a little bit.
My mom should be out here Saturday and then we'll pack up the rest of the weekend and prolly start the trek back to iowa Monday sometime. I'll prolly be w/o internetz while we're drivin back but I'll be online again once I get everything set up at home.
So thats whats going on. I got lots of packin to do right now as I finish up my last few days workin in the office here so I prolly wont be on much except to check mail and what not.
Hi Ella! Glad to hear from you, although I'm sorry to hear about your circumstances. That's a whole lot of life change to occur at once - hold tight and look forward to melting faces with your lock soon! 8-)
Yo Z! Have you seen the Armory? You can look at every player in our guild and see all their armor! It's on the wow site - and it kicks butt!
I'll be on the lookout for druids.
Also, ubah props to Sanura for hooking me up with a jade! I got a burly new tanking chestpiece crafted last night... +150 armor and +8 stamina, a tank's dream!

Looking down the pike...
I never noticed that the revered status in ZG allows you to purchase the 'spirit of zhanza'...it's +50sta/spirit for 2 hrs!!! I figure it'll take about 10 trips (maybe less) to gain revered status.
I LOVE ZG! I'll lead it everytime. I figure if we hit mid 60s, it would take us about 2.5hrs max, even if we only have 10-15 people.
Just expressing my excitement for ZG in our future! 8-)

Should have read this before starting my new priest... eh well. You can never have too many healers, I guess. I'll keep on the druid path too.
By the way, my priest, Cunegonde, is now skill level 92 in tailoring... so please send me all the wool you can! I also take linen and silk, but the linen will quickly become useless and the silk I can't use until I reach something like 130. I need to hit 150 and then 10 slot bags will be available!
Also I'm enchanting so send me all low level greens.
So, to recap: wool goes to Cunegonde. Greens go to Cunegonde.
Peace
